We Have a New Name: Introducing Owl & Rye Bakery
Some exciting news to share — Last Call Bakes has a new name, a new look, and a bigger menu on the way. We're now Owl & Rye Bakery.
Why the change?
The name means something. "Owl" is a nod to another business close to my heart, and "Rye" is a family nickname I've always loved. Together, they became the name for something that finally feels like mine — a bakery that reflects who I actually am, not just what I bake.
And who I am is this: I've been baking since I was a teenager, including a short stint at Le Cordon Bleu, but the real education came from years of baking for my own family. There's nothing like watching someone enjoy something you made just for them — that feeling is the whole reason I do this. Owl & Rye is that same joy, just shared a little wider.
What's staying the same
Small-batch, from-scratch breads, hand pies, and cookies
A rotating weekly menu — nothing sits on a shelf
A cocktail-inspired twist available on select items, for those who want it
Baked in my licensed home kitchen right here in Oakwood, GA
What's new
Along with the name, you'll see a refreshed look across our website and socials — a witchy, cottage-core aesthetic that finally feels like the right fit for this bakery. But the heart of it hasn't changed: every order gets the same care I'd put into baking for my own family's table.
Launch dates
Soft launch: August 2 — one special item to kick things off
Full menu returns: August 9 — our full weekly rotating drops begin
Thank you
If you've supported this bakery before — under the old name or the new one — thank you. This rebrand is a fresh chapter, not a fresh start, and I'm so glad to have you along for it.
